How to order a Cash App card?
Before I tell you how to activate Cash App card, let’s first discuss how to order a new Cash App card is simple. If you have created a new account then you must apply for the Cash App card to unlock all the Cash App benefits and enjoy them. After you apply for the Cash App card, it will arrive within 10 business days through the mail.
Follow the steps below to apply for a new card:
- Open the Cash App on your device.
- Go to Cash card Tab
- Select Get Cash card.
- Click on Continue.
- Follow along with the given instructions.
If any instance, you have misplaced or lost the card, or even if your card is stolen you can order a new Cash card by following these steps:
- Open Cash App.
- Go to Cash Card Tab.
- Select Cash Card Support
- Click on Report your Cash Card.
- Select from the options Card Stolen, compromised or card missing.
- Follow along with the given instruction on the screen.
It will take 9-10 business days for your new card to arrive through the mail. Double-check the name, address, and other details to avoid any kind of delay or problem.
How to activate Cash App card?
Once you have received your Cash App card, you can now activate it. Cash App cards can be activated by two methods. The first one is the activation of the card by QR code and the second is the activation of the card by card details. Note that neither there is any other method to activate your cash app card nor any call or SMS support. You can choose whichever method is best suited to you. Cash App activate a card with QR code?
When you receive the Cash App card parcel. You will receive a printed QR code inside the envelope and you can use it to activate your cash app card. Activating the Cash App Card with a QR code is the simplest process. You can get your card activated within a few minutes by following these quick steps:
- Open the Cash App
- Click on the Cash Card icon on the left side of the screen.
- Click on the drop-down menu and select “Activate Cash Card”
- Cash App will ask permission to access your camera.
- Grant the permission by tapping on Allow.
- Place the QR code and camera appropriately and then scan the QR code.
- As soon as the QR code is scanned your cash card is activated and ready to use.

Cash App activate card without scanning QR code
In case you do not have the QR code you can choose the other method that is activating the card with the card details. Though it can take some time as you will need to recheck the details that you have entered correctly but still is easy to get through. To get your card activated with the card information, look at the steps below:
- Open the Cash App.
- Click on the Cash card icon on the left of the homepage.
- Select “Activate Cash App Card”
- From the drop-down menu, click on “Missing QR code”
- You will be redirected to the other section of the card activation process.
- Select “Use CVV instead”, then you will proceed without a QR code.
- Enter the card details in the respective section which includes your name, expiration date of the card, CVV, and other details which are asked.
- Click on “Activate Card”
- Once you have followed the process, your card is ready to use.
