    1. Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are often used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As skin ages, it becomes thinner and more prone to damage and wrinkles. Dermal fillers can be injected into the skin to prevent volume loss. Fillers can be injected with a needle by trained specialists into the cheeks, lips, and area around the eyes.

Fillers improve the appearance of older skin, resulting in younger and brighter skin. Side effects of dermal fillers include bruising, redness, swelling and pain at the injection site. Results are not permanent and usually last 6 to 18 months.

    2. Botox

Botox is another procedure in which the doctor injects the chemical botulinum into the muscles of the face. Botox is most often used to improve fine lines and wrinkles on the face. When the muscles are injected with botox, they are temporarily paralyzed and relaxed.

It relaxes and softens wrinkles, improving their appearance. Botox is usually applied to wrinkles, lines around the eyes and neck. Side effects of Botox include bruising, headaches, dry eyes, mild pain and weakness in the surrounding muscles. Results last 3 to 6 months.

    3. Chemical Peeling

Chemical peels are made to improve the appearance of the skin. It can treat sunspots, acne scars, dark spots, wrinkles, acne scars and generally improve complexion and glow. A dermatologist will administer light to thorough chemical peels. A chemical solution is applied to the skin, resulting in swelling and peeling of the skin.

Once the top layer is removed, the skin underneath looks younger, more even and brighter. Immediately after the procedure, the skin must be bandaged for a few days to prevent complications or infection in the area. Over the next 7 to 14 days, the skin will crust, blister, and dry out. The results of a medium deep chemical peel can last up to 1 year and a deep peel up to 10 years.
