The importance of emotional bonding in the classroom

Neurobiological data from recent years show that learning is impossible without emotional connections. Children need to feel physically and emotionally safe to explore and develop in their environment for learning. Movement:

According to the work of Maria Montessori, children develop intelligence through movement. Respect:

This is one of the most important pillars of Montessori education: respect for oneself, others, and the environment. Treating boys and girls with respect promotes these behaviors and creates a peaceful and safe environment.

Manners and Courtesy: 

Part of the Montessori approach consists of role-playing games to learn to deal with and present experiences and various everyday situations. It is often thought that Montessori education consists only of a physical environment, a large classroom, and wood materials for sensory development. However, it has emerged as a holistic approach that respects childhood, an important stage in the formation of the character and potential of all boys and girls.

Therefore, attachment, emotion, and learning are three inseparable elements, and the way to care for your emotional bond with your students is to make them feel loved and understood. In this way, communication and self-esteem are improved, which contributes to the social, cognitive, and emotional development of the child.
